THE HISTORY OF THE LYNCH AND FRAWLEY SIDE OF THE FAMILY

A few of the fourth and fifth generation of Lynches visited great, great grandfather Richard Lynch's forge in Minane's Bridge in Ireland. Richard Lynch was born in 1831 in Cork, Ireland and married Hannah Dempsey who was born in 1844 also in Cork. They emigrated to the United States, unfortunately, I have been unable to find anymore information on them. Edward Joseph was a product of this marriage. Edward Joseph married Margarette MacClellan. They lived in Harvard Square, Cambridge. He was printer. They had 5 children and Edward Wellington Sr., Toby's dad was the second son. He married Mabel Frawley.

Toby' maternal grandparents were Mabel Melcher and Dennis Frawley. Dennis was a piano player and managed the Checker Cab Co. in Boston. Ed Sr. and Mabel had 4 sons and Toby (Ed Jr.) is the oldest. In 1957 Toby married Ruth Theriault and they are the parents to three children and have three grandchildren.
